Dr. Andreas Weiss has been working as a lawyer in environmental and planning law since 2011; he has been a specialist lawyer for administrative law since 2015. After his studies, he worked as a research assistant at the Faculty of Law of the University of Tübingen. Dr. Weiss joined Ohms Rechtsanwälte in 2011.
Dr. Andreas Weiss advises concerning issues of administrative law of commerce, especially in the field of environmental and planning law. This includes in particular immission control, nature and landscape conservation, water protection as well as construction, regional and national planning. He advises on legal and strategic aspects of approval and planning approval procedures for infrastructure projects, industrial and commercial plants and especially energy projects. Thanks to his scientific and legal experience, Dr. Andreas Weiss is well acquainted with complex legal issues and legal project work.
In addition, part of his work as a lawyer includes support of environmental criminal law procedures, in particular concerning administrative law.
He is co-author of the commentary on the „Energieleitungsausbaugesetz (EnLAG)“ (Power Grid Expansion Act) in the Berlin Commentary of Energy Law, the section on Immission Control Law in the Munich Litigation Handbook Administrative Law and in the Münchener Anwaltshandbuch (Munich Lawyer’s Manual).
